SleepLess
The tale started under the autumn sun,
When the heart was pure, and love was young.
The sky was raining in orange and red,
And the forest was getting ready for bed.
However this story was about a black cat,
Who was waiting for something to catch.
And when he did, he was in awe.
Inside, the butterfly was in shiver.
Her rainbow wings, they did flutter.
Slowly she started to fly away,
But the cat gently asked her to stay.
So into the forest they did trot,
And both their hearts were tied into knots.
Thinking about each other kept them Sleepless,
And being with each other left them Breathless,
BreathLess
Day and night, they were always together
And they promised each other never ever
To forget these times of ecstasy
Or regret these feelings of chemistry
They were closer than friends or lovers
They weren't family nor brothers
The emotions were stronger than infatuation
The connections were not one of lustful passion
The black cat desired to be with his butterfly
But the rainbow creature was beyond shy
Neither could tell each other their true affection
Neither could name this fluttering fascination
So they decided to just be close friends
Then they could be with each other till the end
Around her, the kitty continued to feel Breathless
But they didn't know this friendship would turn Friendless
FriendLess
When the season shed its golden color
And the trees were adorned no longer
With leaves of life and fruits of freshness
Their virtuous love was no longer careless
For the black kitty found company
In other creatures, he was no longer emotionally
Tied only to the butterfly's heart
So quickly did they drift further apart
But a part of the kitty stayed deep inside
And never actually left the butterfly's mind
So he cried silently every night
And she hid herself from the light
Rivers of tears flowed in his sleep
Her broken heart was wounded deep
Yet he moved on, and didn't stay Friendless
But she couldn't pretend she wasn't Skinless
SkinLess
When the Ice Queen started her slumber
When the Snow Queen lingered no longer
The black cat decided to return
For the lone butterfly, he did yearn
Straight to her heart, the kitty did shout
But distant she was, head filled with doubt
She pushed him away, acting so cold
Crushed and crippled, rage he did withhold
He stayed away, but the butterfly pleaded
Suddenly, he was someone she needed
Confused, but overwhelmed with amorousness
The kitty realized she was his weakness
May get hurt, but he can't leave her again
Running, he did come back with no restraint
She swore to be true, though she's still Skinless
Although this affair did not stay Tearless
TearLess
As the sun sprinkles the earth with gold
The green buds, filled with love, spring did hold
The black cat watered the bud with adoration
Yet the butterfly rejected it with desolation
Instead, she went strolling through the outback
A prideful, picturesque peacock did she tracked
Stunned by beauty, she was wholly bewitched
Her infatuation for him did enriched
Although, the peacock had found his love match
A white butterfly, he already snatched
But abandoned her, he did quickly
And seized the rainbow butterfly swiftly
Away they eloped, submersed in passion
The kitty responded with no grievance
Because he has learned to be Tearless
And he prayed that they would stay Warless
WarLess
The rainbow pairs were entwined in bliss
Their broken lovers, they did not miss
So their lovers dismissed the goodbyes
The black cat and the white butterfly
Finding consolation in each other
Loneliness, something they did not suffer
The bud of love between them did grow
Ecstasy and passion out of them did flow
The white butterfly became more significant
His love for her grew more magnificent
Just as they came to be more than friends
The rainbow butterfly came back to mend
Her heart, which was severed by the peacock
The cuts for him to heal were in a lock
While their friendship was no more Warless
Their connection still remained so Bondless
BondLess
The sky has turned a hue of blue-green
Astonishing was the fairness of the scene
Such artistic sight could set any hearts aglow
Woefully, for the black cat, t'was not so
Nursing her crushed heart with all his might
Calm again, the butterfly took flight
Alluring and noxious was the peacock
Tantalize and seduce with empty talks
Abandoned by the rainbow butterfly
A part of the black cat seemed to have died
Instead, he found solace in the white one
A new life with her, he had begun
Hearing the news of the kitty's new life
The rainbow butterfly's heart was in strife
Their bridge of ardor was crashed, now Bondless
Though they felt deep tortured, turned Painless
PainLess
The trees started to cry tears of gold
Their orange casing shed uncontrolled
The black rain, like acid on him, dropped
The toxic bleeding, the cat couldn't stop
As life went on, having no empathy
The black cat wished to seek no sympathy
Still, the white butterfly pulled him closer
And he nurshed his wound, in her shelter
While the rainbow butterfly fluttered 'bout
While her mind was not clouded with doubt
While the peacock was savoring his catch
While he was relishing his perfect match
The black cat moved on with a heavy mind
The white butterfly, to him, tried to bind
The feelings immersed, seemed Painless
The senses paralyzed, seemed Heartless
HeartLess
The fable moved into a pitch bleakness
Wandering around the unknown darkness
The suffering seemed to last forever
The abstract glow, he tried to endeavour
The white butterfly stood against the light
The kitty, smitten with her dainty flight
With cautious, stepped toward the bright shine
The piercing memories, he left enshrined
The butterfly, around him, her wings wrapped
His entire being, she seemed to trap
No longer wanting to stay fragmented
The kitty yearned to be blanketed
Under the effervescent radiance
Where the kitty found a new alias
A new character that wasn't Heartless
One that was hopefully, not Loveless
LoveLess
The enchantment of spring has returned
The ruby sun, upon the teal sky, burned
The souls were light and no more dreary
Masking the inner, so grim and weary
Basking the glory of the moon's sharp eyes
The black cat and the white butterfly
Gaily trotted along the rippled briny
Embracing in passion so heavenly
But as the black and white couple rejoiced
The rainbow butterfly made a grave choice
To leave the peacock she so admired
To run from his claws she so desired
So the peacock cut her crystal chain loose
For her affections, he had no more use
Having stripped her flames, leaving her Loveless
Having took her light, making her Hopeless
HopeLess
The forest was coated with flushed florals
Soaked in blazing rays of lilac laurels
Vivid hues, and ornate iridescence
Mocked the creatures, at their own expenses
Having revealed his true character
The peacock adorned no more color
Being released from her dreary jail
The rainbow butterfly's life availed
The black cat, she pursued and struggled for
His calmness, she yearned and craved even more
Yet when he embraced her attractions
His love, she was with blank reactions
Deprived of sensations, she turned numb
Again, she shattered his feelings to crumbs
Confined by emotions, he was Hopeless
He wished his mind would turn Memoryless
MemoryLess
The crisp wind slithered and groveled along
The woeful birds no longer sang their songs
The severed trees shrouded in crimson gore
The fable turned to a sinister war
Where have those feelings of happiness gone?
When did the giggles of laughter move on?
At the place the souls were filled with excite
At the time the words were filled with delight
The peacock disappeared back to his shed
His beauty restored, though inside was dead
The rainbow butterfly closed her torn wings
Her emotions, she had tied up with strings
The white butterfly, wearied of this game
Flickered about, seeking another flame
They refused to ever recall, Memoryless
They refused to be truly alive, Endless
EndLess
The tale ended under the winter snow
When the heart was tainted and love grew old
The sky was crying in lifeless colors
And the forest was losing its wonders
This story was still about the black cat
Who was trying to live again from scratch
And when he did, he found a dim sparkle
He peeked at the glint with hopeful marvel
Inside, the pure dove elegantly soar
The stout lion majestically roar
The radiant lamb lightheartedly graze
While the fires of true love shone ablaze
Here, the cat found reasons to stay alive
Here, the cat found purposes to survive
In this place, sufferings were not Endless
In this place, happiness was not Nameless
